USF Students: All enrolled students need to purchase the Course Kit. Go to the IEEE Student Chapter Office and pick up your kit for $120! The IEEE office is not always open. Please, see here for their office hours during the first week of classes. You can also send an email to Patrick Grycuk, Ilia Bautista, or Thomas DeCanio at the IEEE office for making an appointment if the office hours are outside your reach. Paypal and Credit Cards are accepted. The IEEE office is located across from the Electrical Engineering Main Office in the ENB building (ENB 379).
Note: If you already bought the course kit from the IEEE, you do not need to get it a second time. Just let the IEEE know that you already have it to get Homework 1 credit.

1) Arduino Kit:
In class we will do experiments with the Arduino platform, and learn how to control motors, LEDs, switches, motion sensors etc...Each provided Arduino kit contains the parts listed here. Most of the components are featured in the tutorial videos posted in the lesson plan. There you can also find the latest versions of the Arduino sketches used in the tutorials as a starting point for your own projects. We have also provided a few CAD files of the parts included in the kit. These can be found here. |
