Requirements for the 3 min video showcasing the project:
The video needs to show the following:
All videos must use the title template posted below at the beginning, and the authors of the video must introduce themselves at the beginning.
Title template:
- A brief (30s) intro to your project. Show your 3D simulation and show/explain briefly what the object does.
- A summary (30s) of the control system. Use a block diagram of the circuit and review which parts do what.
- Show your device in action and demonstrate all features. Explain what is going on (2 min) and what the artistic and design concepts are. Make sure that you use a nice homogeneous background behind your device. A large piece of white cardboard or a bed sheet work pretty well. Ensure that the device is well-llluminated (ideally by a diffuse source, such as natural light coming in from a window (make sure it is not direct sunlight)).
- Please, note that we will reserve 10 pts of the total Deliverable 8 grade for the quality of this video. Please, make sure that it is in HD and a mp4 file. We also expect a nicely produced video, that has a good story flow and is of decent image and sound quality. We would like to use some of your footage for posting on makecourse.com, i.e. please, make an effort that your videos look professional.
